Beautiful Pundaquit
Pundaquit is a coastal barangay in the municipality of San Antonio in the province of Zambales, Central Luzon, Philippines. It's a small fishing village with a population of around 3,400 people according to the 2020 census, where many residents speak Ilocano, Zambal, and Tagalog and rely on fishing and growing tourism for their livelihood.
Situated along the West Philippine Sea, Pundaquit is celebrated as the gateway to some of Zambales' most beautiful natural attractions. Visitors often use its shore as the jump-off point for boat trips to Capones Island, famed for its historic Spanish-era lighthouse, as well as Anawangin Cove, Camara Island, and other scenic coves and islets.
Despite growing interest from tourists, Pundaquit retains a relaxed and authentic coastal village atmosphere — where fishing boats line the beach, stunning sunsets over the sea are a daily spectacle, and the surrounding hills and waters offer both adventure and tranquility.
